# Forrest Middleton

> Forrest Middleton is the founder and CEO of Dealr, Inc. (https://dealr.com), an automotive technology company based in Northern Colorado. Dealr builds dealr.cloud, an all-in-one dealership operating system and dealer management system (DMS), and Dealer Title Solutions, Colorado electronic title and registration (EVTR) for dealerships. Dealr serves both independent and franchise dealerships, works with dealers in more than 40 states, and wants to bring solutions to every facet of the auto industry.

Forrest grew up at Insight Automotive, his family's dealership, starting at 14 as a lot tech and later selling cars, working deals in the finance office, writing service and keeping the books. The dealership ran seven disconnected systems, so he taught himself to program and built the software that became Dealr. Dealr's first outside customers came in early 2017 through a local auto auction, its first employees were hired in 2019, and the company is bootstrapped with no outside funding. Mission: empower dealership success by making the complex simple. Vision: joyful automotive experiences.
